Homeward and NeotericX
Homeward is owned and operated by NeotericX Incorporated. This Homeward policy is effective October 30, 2026. Mandatory legal rights and applicable separate agreements take precedence.
Essential functions
Hosting, security, account sessions, guest plans, form submission, and remembering privacy choices support the service you request. The __Host-homeward cookie is an HTTP-only secure session cookie with a 12-hour lifetime. Signing out expires it. Guest project storage remains in your browser until you clear it or replace it. Social sign-in, when configured, may use short-lived security cookies for the sign-in exchange. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or saving guest work.
Your optional choice
Privacy choices stores hw-privacy-choice in local storage with the notice version, your analytics choice, and an expiry of up to 180 days. Optional analytics stays off unless you opt in. Reject optional and Save choices are equally available; you can reopen the dialog in the footer. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track overrides an earlier opt-in and keeps collection off. If browser storage is unavailable, optional analytics stays off.
Analytics and deletion
After consent, hw-analytics-key contains a random browser-specific secret in local storage. Only its hash identifies analytics rows in our database; the secret is sent to our own endpoint over HTTPS to record an approved public page view or request deletion. We do not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. No visitor identifier is sent to a third-party analytics service.
We collect page paths and timestamps, not form content, project content, full URLs, location, or device fingerprints. Use Delete this browser’s analytics history to remove rows linked to its current key and reset the key. This also turns optional analytics off. Combined totals remain until their retention window ends and cannot be separated by person. Clearing storage before requesting deletion can make earlier history unlinkable to this browser.
Detailed history is retained for up to 90 days and aggregates for up to 13 months, with cleanup on the next analytics collection, deletion, or management request. Rejecting analytics does not disable necessary security or account records. See Privacy Requests & Appeals for other data requests.
